Can this scaler be in-built in the delivery unit of dental chair?
Yes, it can be in-built in the dental chair with the help of service engineer. The inbuilt model of D5 scaler is V3.
Does implant maintenance tip come with this device?
No, the implant maintenance tip (PD90) doesn’t come with the unit. It is available on the order basis.
Does the surface come with touch system?
No, the unit doesn’t come with touch system, but there is availability of switches to change the power or switch the modes of the unit.
What should be the power in Endo mode?
This device is microcomputer controlled. It provides specific power to the handpiece during various modes. Still while using the endo mode, the power recommended should be 3-4.
How endo mode is used in the scaler?
First, the endo mode is selected. Then the endo attachment with the Ni-Ti file is attached to the handpiece. The power is set to 3 or 4. After that, the file is kept inside the prepared canal and foot control is pressed. It irrigates the canals removing the foreign particles or debris from inside the canal making it ready for obturation.
Is it possible to change the modes of the scaler, when it is inbuilt in the dental chair?
Yes. It is possible to change the modes of the scaler in the dental chair with the help of a potentiometer, a pull-push switch available under the delivery unit of the dental chair.
